Seeing you makes mii cry
Each time you return
I can no longer deny
the truth.
To disguise the pain,
to maintain
this masquerade
I evade and
then persuade
Reality to retreat,
down these lonely streets.
But hugs and goodbyes
prompt tears in my eyes
and i'm forced to realize
that which cannot be disguised
by my lies.
It remains true
I am human bound by time.
school started before i got off the plane yesterday, i made it to both of my classes on time and was blown out of the water by my lack of brain cells. I am already swamped. I have to learn how to use UNIX and program in it, in a week, keep in mind that the last time i wrote a computer program was in 2004. So yeah, pray for miii oooooooooooooooooo. I will make a concerted effort to NOT abandon this blog.

Oh yikes...UNIX...I pray for you right now that you will conquer and not be overwhelmed (like I was when I heard the word UNIX)!

UNIX?...yippiie! wish i had ur opportunity. after 4 years of computer science in uniabuja, the only thing they taught us was pascal and basic. who uses these in naija? then for effect they threw in a few lines of VB.

Little wonder i spent most of my school days outside the classroom, hanging around cybercafes. Am running my job now based on everything i learnt from the cafes and not school, and i know i still have a lot to learn.

so em, could you pass on ur UNIX notes every now and then?, they say one man's pain is another mans pleasure...dnt worry my friend, it wont be that bad....u will only begin to see codes in your

i replied your comment on my blog. would love to follow the train of your thoughts.

Hey there, navigated from Jaycee's blog. Very touching andmoving piece, I like.. Ah Unix... if your area is programming e.t.c, then you will be fine. I found it straight forward to learn unlike some weired languages like pascal! I had to learn Unix as a matter of keep or loose my job, and it was not too bad. I pray for understanding and insight for you and wisdom to be able to apply it and programme / talk with it Amen. Have a great week.

UNIX is supposed to b simple - that is what they tell you, but after years and years of Windows, it takes some getting used to.

My Heart Leaps Up

My heart leaps up when I behold

A rainbow in the sky:

So was it when my life began;

So is it now I am a man;

So be it when I shall grow old,

Or let me die!

The Child is father of the Man;

And I could wish my days to be

Bound each to each by natural piety.
