Woes of a Logical Person: VI- Fantasy vs. Reality

Dear Fantasy,

I love you because
Your arms embrace my dreams and
your fingers make from my noise a symphony.
Your feet dance to this tune and
your lips quiet my fears with lullabies.
When you are with mii,

I am in love.

Dear Reality,
I hate you because
Your hands sculpt statues of my worries and
your fingers weed out my dreams, one by one.
Your feet trample on my aspirations,
and your lips broadcast my uncertainties.
When you are with mii,

I am just a fool in love.

Lollll...I totally loveeeee this comparison.

Yet still, I currently live in a world where my fantasies are slowly merging into my realities...

Hmm...

My fantasies are in one world where the color of the sky is magenta pink

I still live in a world where the sky is blue...

How can i build a bridge?

i like. especially the line about sculting statues of worries. we often create idols of our worries. set them on pedestals.then they are larger than life isn't that ironic?

Very nice poem! But may I say this... Despite of your dreams or of your reality, the one thing that is certain is that God is in control, and he wants nothing but to cover you in His love and blessings. Take a lesson from young David... despite all the giants of life, keep your eyes on Him and Him alone, and you too will be become a conqueror!

@ lindah: trying to come back, there is something about dropping out that makes it hard to get back on the blogville wagon.

@ disgodkidd: patience is a virtue and for you it finally paid off. of course you can borrow the line LOL

@ rethots: hmmmmm my point exactly

@ jaycee: it's the pace that drives mii nuts, WHY DOEs IT HAVE TO BE SOOOO SLOW

@ chari: yeah

@ allied: i love your lines blue and pink building a bridge between the two, i have no idea how to link it, i guess you could let God know your dreams and hopefully they will become a reality I DON'T KNOW

@ feather: yes we do, magnify the inconsequential mountains and belittle the maker of all things.

@ jason: are you reading Lucado's box on David??? just asking, i still owe you a callback, but then again i am always delinquent so i won't make empty promises
